This book has tried to explore the classroom strategies of secondary level English teachers that they use to enhance the communicative skills of the students while teaching English in Nepal. Although the teachers are familiar with some common communicative strategies and understanding the importance of communicative skill of language, they have failed to implement strategies considered successful in teaching English in the classroom. Students, subsequently, were not able to experience a congenial atmosphere in which to use and practise their language in the field, therefore, failing to improve their performance. This book will enhance the teachers with what they need to learn a variety of interactive activities available and the way to use them in the practice.

Tara BudhaThe author was educated in Nepal.She has M.A. degree at Tribhuvan University and Master's in English Language Teaching at Kathmandu University, Nepal. Ms. Budha has long experience of teaching and supervising the teachers in Nepal. The author is currently an M.Phil student at Kathmandu University where she is teaching.
