The book takes up global crises and shows how they cause care and that the economy has to change in response. In this situation, the spheres of care and the spheres of economy are mutually dependent. The context that is described is a multifaceted and multi-layered one. It concerns social care, government action and corporate responsibility. All actors are involved in caring and economic activities within an ecological framework for a development that is beneficial to life both locally and globally.
