A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. <p><b>Dr. Christian Schneider </b>studied physics at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and received his doctorate there in 2013 in the group of Prof. Dr. Martin Aeschlimann on laser-induced plasmonic excitations of nanostructures. Today he works in the field of science communication in physics at the University of Mainz. </p>
