This second volume on intercultural communication and cooperation adds and expands the first volume through information on specific countries and cultures. The book gives an overview of intercultural problems and requests in different jobs in which internationality plays an important role and competence is needed and asked for.29 authors from different countries present specific information on selected cultural regions with authentic examples of country specific cultural standards and cultural historic backgrounds. Central intercultural aspects in intercultural management, personnel development, international military actions or in international science cooperations are discussed. The reader also finds scientific results drawn from applied practice.

Dr. phil. Dr. h.c. Alexander Thomas ist emeritierter Professor der Universität Regensburg, wo er bis 2005 an der Abteilung Sozialpsychologie und Organisationspsychologie tätig war. Er ist Gründungsmitglied des Regensburger »Instituts für Kooperationsmanagement« (IKO).
