The time study techniques, which are undertaken in forest harvesting operations usually calculate net production and gross production time from original time recorded on the field. The present book focuses on application of a new method in which each measurement of time is replaced by its logarithm on the base 10 (Log 10). This approach has been developed for researchers who work with time study technique in order to estimate production and cost.

Naghimeh Badraghi received her B.Sc.(2006) and M.Sc. (2008) from University of Mazandaran, Iran. She obtained her Ph.D. (2013) from University TU Dresden, Germany. Now she is postdoctoral researcher in Global Change Research Centre, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, v. v. i. in Brno since 2014.
