'Managing the Climate Crisis': Tackling the climate crisis is a task for the entire state and society. A legal analysis of the various legal standards, procedures and instruments provided for this purpose must therefore not only focus on individual areas of law (e. g. climate protection, emission trading), but must take all areas of law into account - including areas without a direct link to climate (e.g. financial market law). With this in mind, this volume develops a holistic approach towards managing the climate crisis.

Christoph Krönke studierte Rechtswissenschaft in Heidelberg (2003-2006) und München (2006-2009). Nach Promotion (2012), Zweiter Juristischer Staatsprüfung (2014) und Habilitation (2020) in München war er zunächst Universitätsprofessor an der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (2020-2023). Seit 2023 ist er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Öffentliches Recht I an der Universität Bayreuth. Daniel Wolff studierte Rechtswissenschaften und Philosophie in Heidelberg, London (Kings College) und München (LMU und Hochschule für Philosophie). Nach den Staatsprüfungen (2013 und 2015) und der Promotion in München (2019) erwarb er 2020 einen Master of Laws (LL.M.) an der Yale Law School. 2024 folgte die Habilitation an der LMU München. Von 2021 bis 2025 war Daniel Wolff Juniorprofessor für Öffentliches Recht an der Universität Augsburg. Seit dem Sommersemester 2025 ist er Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Öffentliches Recht und Grundlagen des Rechts an der Universität Greifswald.
