In conclusion, there are no insurmountable hurdles to such use of reverse convertible bonds from a stock cooperation and insolvency law perspective. It is however not possible to give a blanket answer as to whether such use of reverse convertible bonds is reasonable in each individual case.

Christoph Becherer studierte von 2008 bis 2013 Rechtswissenschaften mit Schwerpunkt im Un-ternehmens- und Gesellschaftsrecht an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Im Anschluss absolvierte er ein LL.M.-Studium in Law and Economics an der Queen Mary University of London.
