A Study on the Metaphysical Notion of Provisory Juridical Possession' This book outlines the meaning of the positivity of external law according to Kants Doctrine of Right, which is inevitably arbitrary in one part, yet necessary in another. It reveals Kants demonstration of the reality of the practical notion of freedom in the external relation of men. An interpretation of the Doctrine of Right as a 'system of cognition from pure concepts' therefore allows to decode its conceptual constitution for the first time.

Martin Heuser studierte u. a. Rechtswissenschaft als Stipendiat des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Im Anschluss daran war er als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an einem Lehrstuhl für Strafrecht und Rechtsphilosophie an der Universität Regensburg tätig. 2019 wurde er an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn promoviert. 2020 folgte die Zweite Juristische Staatsprüfung. Im Sommersemester 2023 fungierte er als Vertreter des Lehrstuhls für Strafrecht, Strafprozessrecht, Internationales Strafrecht, Strafrechtsvergleichung und Rechtsphilosophie an der Leipziger Juristenfakultät.
