'The Constitutional Protection of Whistleblowers': Whistleblowing is a phenomenon that state and society have had to face for a long time. But how are whistleblowers protected under the German constitution? To what extent do the fundamental rights of whistleblowers prevail against conflicting legal interests? This work deals comprehensively with the admissibility of whistleblowing from a constitutional point of view and examines which principles and balancing criteria are important in this context.

Jan-Philipp Redder studierte Rechtswissenschaft an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf und promovierte nach Bestehen der ersten Prüfung bei Professor Dr. Jörn Axel Kämmerer an der Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Sein Referendariat absolvierte er am Hanseatischen OLG. Mittlerweile arbeitet er als Rechtsanwalt bei Ruge Purrucker Makowski in Kiel mit Schwerpunkt im öffentlichen Recht.
