Zusatztext

Tuberculosis presents in almost any possible way in human body, but a non responsive patient may be an alarm for looking into alternate diagnosis. In endemic countries like India it is till date taken for granted to treat any radiological opacity as Tuberculosis even if there is no evidence to prove the same. This book shares my experience from various tertiary care centres of India, challenges faced in management of this so called most common infective disease known to man kind. I have tried to compile our journey in form of three really interesting and thought provoking case scenarios with minimum use of medical terminologies. This apart from being useful to budding clinicians would also be of great help to anyone who would like to know in detail about the same. Cases range from varied age groups along with final diagnosis which came as a surprise to us as clinicians but, ultimate satisfaction of getting to diagnose such difficult cases and in turn providing them with life saving management is unmatched.
