This book discusses the use, economic importance and impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in public and private Sudanese universities. The author provides an in-depth analysis of the economic impact of ICT from the demand perspective as well as from the public-private perspective. This book also examines the status, pattern, structure, trend and determinants of the demand for ICT in public and private Sudanese universities. Dr. Samia Mohamed Nour is an Affiliated Researcher of United Nations University- Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT) and Associate Professor of Economics in the Faculty of Economic and Social Studies, Khartoum University (Sudan). She is also the author of 'Technological Change and Skill Development in Sudan' (Springer, 2013) and 'Technological Change and 'Skill Development in Arab Gulf Countries' (Springer, 2013).
