Exodus 3:14 provides Joachim Ringleben's study with the starting point for revealing a re-conception of the living God, whose Being is thought of as a self-generating temporal-eternalness. This gives rise to new ideas about omnipotence, creation, eternity, revelation, love, omnipresence, and omniscience, and, in particular, allows a rethinking of the doctrine of the trinity in its logical structure. Biblical and Christological references throughout are a special feature of the work, which the author fittingly rounds off with an outline of eschatology.
