Gerhard Streminger discusses the diverse attempts at a solution and without exception rejects them as untenable. He is thus able to claim that the problem has been dealt with in its entirety. Moreover though, Streminger attempts to show that the theodicy problem has not only remained unsolved, but that it is unsolvable .
