Michael Walzer is one of today's most important political theorists. Nevertheless, the worldwide recognition of his work suffers from a "blind spot" when it comes to situating Walzer's communitarian philosophy of justice in the context of Jewish political theory. The collection presented here aims to fill this gap for the first time in a German-language publication by providing a systematic interpretation of the complex inter-dependencies between religion and politics in Walzer's work under the heading of political theology.
