This Festschrift for the 70th birthday of Andreas Lindemann, Professor Emeritus of New Testament Studies at the Kirchliche Hochschule Bethel, combines 32 articles written by internationally renowned scholars on the work and the impact of Paul. It constitutes an enchiridion on Paul which documents the historical and theological work on the Pauline epistles as well as the continuing effects of Paul's teachings in the history of Christianity. The first half of the volume comprises articles on individual epistles and text passages in the Corpus Paulinum as well as on aspects of Pauline theology. The second half consists of studies on the reception history of Paul and his theology. The time frame ranges from the reception of the Pauline works from the second to the fourth century to the adoption of the Pauline legacy during the Reformation and in the present.
