Marianne Weber is mainly known as Max Weber's wife, as the author of his biography and the editor of his works. Up to now, her own life as a scholar and in the women's movement has received little attention. In this volume, Bärbel Meurer examines Marianne Weber's life and works from different perspectives and deals with private areas such as marriage, family and friendships as well as her scholarly work and her work in feminist politics.
