Eberhard Jüngel has focused his thinking on God's Advent more than almost any other theologian has done. In the 32 essays contained in this Festschrift, Jüngel's contemporaries, taking various stances, reflect each in his or her own way on the one who is intrinsically more interesting than anything or anyone else: God.
