The authors of the articles in this volume describe the various combined administrative procedures which are used to enforce European law in the EU and in the individual member states. They focus on the forms of administrative cooperation in environmental and veterinary law, among the police and customs officers, in structural funds and in the product safety law. When reading these articles, it becomes clear that the European administrations have grown into an organization which imparts and exchanges information, takes action and exerts controls. Providing constitutionally acceptable regulations for legal structures, procedures and organization of this administration is an important duty of the European administrative law.
