This is a collection of reviews of famous, important and interesting decisions made by international and national courts, committees and panels in the field of international law. An emphasis is put on the decisions of the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights, but other courts and various committees are considered as well. National court decisions include Germany as well as the United States and a variety of other countries. The reviews explain backgrounds, analyze the reasoning, describe consequences and give references for further reading. Various introductions provide a systematic analysis of the various topics of international law.
