<p><strong>Matt Dawson</strong> is Professor of Sociology at the University of Glasgow, UK. He is the author of <em>The Political Durkheim: Sociology, Socialism, Legacies </em>(2023), <em>Social Theory for Alternative Societies </em>(2016) and <em>Late Modernity, Individualization and Socialism: An Associational Critique of Neoliberalism </em>(2013, Palgrave Macmillan).<em> </em>His research interests include social theory, the history of sociology and normativity.</p>
