Kevin A. Morrison is Distinguished Professor in the School of Foreign Languages at Henan University, China. He is the author of A Micro-History of Victorian Liberal Parenting: John Morleys Discreet Indifference and Victorian Liberalism and Material Culture: Synergies of Thought and Place, and editor of five books, including the forthcoming Walter Besant: The Business of Literature and the Pleasures of Reform.
