ENTER A WORLD POWERED BY LEY LINES! Having survived the Apocalyptic Shattering of the Nexus---the hub created to harness the magical power of the ley lines---Wielder Kara Tremain and ex-Dog Allan Garrett have led their small group of refugees to the Hollow, a safe haven in the hills on the edge of the plains. Joshua Palmatier is an epic fantasy writer with a PhD in mathematics. He has had eight novels published by DAW Books, including "The Throne of Amenkor" trilogy, the "Well" series, and the "Ley" series. His most recent word includes CRYSTAL LATTICE and CRYSTAL REBEL, part of the "Crystal Cities" trilogy. He is currently hard at work on the third novel in the "Crystal Cities" series, CRYSTAL WAR.
