Kate Wiseman is an award winning author, famous for the Gangster School series, and her about to be published Mudlark Mysteries (for which she won the Eyelands Prize). Icarus and Velvet is her first YA fantasy novel. Carsten Polzin from Textbaby agency, in Germany, acts as her agent.
