SABBA KHAN is a visual artist, graphic novelist and architectural designer living in Newham, East London. An extract from The Roles We Play was shortlisted by the Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition 2018. A second generation Azad Kashmiri migrant in East London, Khan paints a vivid snapshot of contemporary British Asian life. She investigates how partition, displacement and assimilation have been experienced by different generations within migrant communities, creating an uplifting and universal story that crosses borders and decades..
