Based on a true story, William Ivory's play The Market Deeping Model Railway Club is a warm and witty celebration of community, friendship and British eccentricity. It is premiered at Nottingham Playhouse in 2026, directed by Adam Penford. Wiliam Ivory is a BAFTA-nominated screenwriter, playwright and actor. His work for the screen includes Made in Dagenham and The Great Escaper, and for the stage includes Bomber's Moon and Diary of a Football Nobody.
