When impoverished artist Marcus Peterson travels to a private island to paint for reclusive billionaire Jasper Carmichael, it's all about the money¿at first. But the subject of this portrait, Jasper's younger lover, August, proves even more alluring. As August sits for the painting, he and Marcus grow close, until August shares a secret: Jasper is an international criminal and a dangerous man.  Marcus decides he has no choice but to complete the painting and leave as soon as possible, hopefully taking August with him. But Jasper is a possessive and jealous man. Can they escape with their lives and hearts intact?

Based in eastern Canada, Jordan Demaine loves to travel as much as possible, obsessively Geocaching along the way.
