Edward L. Smither is Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the author of<i>Augustine as Mentor</i> (2008) and<i>Brazilian Evangelical Missions in the Arab World</i> (Cascade Books, 2012).
