James Leo Garrett, Jr., is Distinguished Professor of Theology, Emeritus, at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of a major two-volume work,<i>Systematic Theology: Biblical, Historical, and Evangelical</i> (Wipf&amp; Stock), the monumental<i>Baptist Theology: A Four-Century Study</i> (Mercer), and numerous other books and articles. He currently lives in Nacogdoches, Texas.<br>
