Zusatztext

Few bonds are as intricate and personal as our relationship with food: our choices and preferences as well as our phobias and aversions. The Handbook of Behavior, Food and Nutrition disseminates current information pertaining to the modulatory effects of foods and other food substances on behavior and neurological pathways and, importantly, vice versa. With more than 200 chapters, the Handbook of Behavior, Food and Nutrition covers topics at the cellular, systemic, individual, and population levels. It explores the complex interrelationship between neuropsychological processing, diet, and behavioral outcome within the context of contemporary psychobiological research. Theoretically rich and real-world practical, the Handbook of Behavior, Food and Nutrition addresses the interests of a wide audience, including psychologists, nutritionists, dieticians, public health professionals, pharmacologists, food scientists, and physicians. Additionally, pathologists, food marketing professionals, and policymakers will find it an invaluable source of objective information on increasingly salient issues.
