Based in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 1953, Beautiful Seclusion chronicles the life of Adam Hillcrest. Adam is a troubled soul and hopeless romantic who is attempting to redefine himself after some radical changes in his life. After Adams wife divorces him, he sells everything he owns and moves to New York with nothing more than a guitar, a box of books, and a duffel bag full of clothes. He finds himself in the center of the rising bohemian movement taking place in Greenwich Village. In the midst of a creative explosion of art, literature, and music, Adam finds himself participating directly in the cultural revolution.Beautiful Seclusion is a story of a lost man who embarks on an existentialist journey and discovers his true self and a love beyond his wildest dreams.
