She emigrated to Canada in 1976. In 2008 she returned to England and now lives in Devon. Her novels are set in the medieval, Georgian, and Regency periods and have won five RITAs, romance's top award, as well as many other accolades. She is one of twelve members of the Romance Writers of America's Hall of Fame.</p>
