Jane Chapman is Professor of Communications, Lincoln University, UK, a visiting Fellow at Wolfson College and the Centre for South Asian Studies, Cambridge, and Adjunct Professor at Macquarie University, Australia. She has eight books in media history, journalism and documentary and runs grants for Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Economic and Social Science Research Council (ESRC) and the British Academy.<BR>
