The article brought to your attention is devoted to the consideration of the problems posed by Stanuslav Lem in his latest work: "The Megabit Bomb". Recognizing the fundamental legitimacy and legitimacy of the concerns and fears expressed by S. Lem about the thoughtless and soulless spread and application of "IT" in various spheres of human life and activity, we here, nevertheless, formulate and justify our own - restrainedly optimistic - position regarding future prospects developments in the area under consideration.
