Howard Phillips Lovecraft became the beacon and landmark of the horror genre, an idol for both the general public and the sophisticated intellectuals. His influence was recognized by such masters as Borges, and such idols of millions as Stephen King, his stories were repeatedly filmed, and the writer's name itself became a household name. "The Call of Cthulhu", like other works of Lovecraft, is designed in a unique author's style. If you analyze the entire text, then the description of the monster itself will be half a page ... But the horror lasts all the time while you read the book, and the reader really thinks out the rest himself.
