He is the coauthor of</span><span>Historical Dictionary of the Broadway Musical</span><span> (2007) and author of</span><span>The Baroque Cello Revival: An Oral History</span><span> (2004) and Wicked</span><span>: A Musical Biography</span><span> (2011), all published by Scarecrow Press.</span></span>
