MARK BUTTON is Principal Lecturer and Associate Head (Curriculum) at the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies, University of Portsmouth, UK, prior to which he was a Research Assistant to the Rt Hon Bruce George MP. He has written extensively on private security, policing and fraud. His publications include<EM>Private Security</EM> (co-authored)<EM>Private Policing</EM> and<EM>Security Officers and Policing.</EM><BR><BR><BR><BR>
