Dorothea Burtchen-Bataineh:Ein Dreivierteljahrhundert, voll gepackt mit neugierig gebliebenem und abwechslungsreichem Leben, ist die bisherige Bilanz dieser "Storyteller" genannten Berlinerin. Nach dem Abitur lernte sie zunächst Buchhändlerin, war dann Antiquarin und Verlagsgrossistin, wechselte etwa alle 5 Jahre in neue Berufe wie: Postausfahrerin, Beschäftigungstherapeutin und Versicherungsagentin in Hessen, Altenpflegerin und Verwaltungsangestellte im UKBF in Berlin. Nach ihrer Pensionierung wurde sie ehrenamtlich als Lesepatin tätig. Neben der Erziehung ihrer vier Kinder schrieb sie Geschichten, die sie seit 2005 im Frieling-Verlag veröffentlicht.
