This is an account of the formation of Prince Albert's Regiment of Light Infantryin 1685, and of its subsequent services to 1848. Richard Cannon was a chief clerk in the adjutant's office of The Horse Guards and was tasked to write a history of every serving regiment in the British Army at that point in the nineteenth century.The author of this teaching book maintains that many people go through life handicapped when it comes to their ability to write fluently. The argument is that many pupils never learn the basics of good posture and practice when it comes to the physical act of writing. The book is an attempt to correct that.
